Online Bill Pay Questions and Answers

What is Online Bill Pay? Online Bill Pay is a convenient way for you to pay all your bills from one secure website. Just imagine no more handwritten checks, envelopes, or stamps. It’s as simple as visiting our website, logging into your Bill Pay account, and paying your bills at your convenience. You must be a current Queen City Federal Online Banking customer to activate Online Bill Pay.

Why should I sign up? Online Bill Pay allows you to create your own payee menus. Therefore you can elect to use Bill Pay services to make a payment to any business or individual. This is a much faster and safer way to pay your bills. 

How much does Online Bill Pay cost?   Bill Pay must be used once every 30 days or a non-usage fee of $4.95 per month will apply.

What must I have on my PC to get bill pay?  You must be a current Queen City Federal Online Banking customer to activate Online Bill Pay. You will not need any additional software or hardware for Bill Pay.

How do I sign up for Online Bill Pay? 

  • Please note that you must first be enrolled in Queen City Federal’s Online Banking before you can enroll in Online Bill Pay.  To enroll in Online Banking please click on the “Personal Enrollment” link in the upper right hand corner of this screen and complete the “First Time Log In” information.  You must wait approximately 24 hours after enrolling in Online Banking before you can sign up for Online Bill Pay.
  • Once you are an Online Banking Customer:  Login and simply fill in the required fields on the Online Bill Pay enrollment form - follow the prompts to set up your account.  Your Online Bill Pay usercode and password must be an exact match of your Online Banking usercode and password. 

How is my account information protected? Your information is protected by a password that you will use along with your User ID.  The password is encrypted for additional security. Your Online Bill Pay can only be accessed through Online Banking by using your personalized password.

How soon can I pay my first bill? Once we verify and approve your application, we will register you with our Online Bill Pay system and welcome you to the system with an email. You are now ready to set up your Online Bill Pay. This process may take 1 to 2 business days.

How long does it take for a payment to reach the payee? Customers should allow 10 business days for a payment to reach a payee. When funds can be transferred electronically, funds may be transferred in 3 days.
